Sitting on a Bench

About Me

I am passionate about helping people work towards feeling more positive about themselves and I absolutely love the work that I do! Working to help people achieve their full potential and feel so much better in themselves is what inspires me to be a counsellor. Also, like many other counsellors, I have needed the help of others to get me through some tough times in the past, so I really do get how it feels to be at a point where life becomes difficult to manage, and although we are all different we may have walked similar paths.

I have helped clients with a wide diversity of issues including, but not exclusively; relationship difficulties (with partners and parents), feelings of depression, anxiety and emptiness as well as difficulties such as self-worth and self-esteem.

I am a fully qualified, person centred, integrative counsellor, working in Cheltenham. I hold an advanced certificate and a diploma in counselling (see below) and I have 5 years of client work experience. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and I keep up to date with the latest training, attending continuous professional development throughout the year.

I offer a peaceful, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can talk and really feel heard. Each counselling session is an hour long. Regular weekly sessions are recommended as therapy works better that way. Each session is £50.

Considering therapy can be scary but it doesn't have to feel like that. In our work together we can go at your own pace and build a safe, confidential and trusting relationship where you can share things you may never have spoken about before. In this way it is possible to start to feel more in touch with yourself and work towards hope.

I'm here to help you so you don't have to work things out alone.
